Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Khushu app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Furkan Kaya (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:

• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)

• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages

• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application collects your device's location, which helps the Service Provider determine your approximate geographical location to provide features such as personalized prayer times, relevant recommendations, and location-based services.

Family Controls and Screen Time API

The Application utilizes Apple’s Family Controls (Screen Time API) to provide its core functionality, which includes managing and restricting access to other applications during specific times (e.g., prayer times).

Regarding this feature:

• Local Processing: All data accessed through the Family Controls API, including the list of installed applications and device usage restrictions, is processed locally on your device.

• Data Privacy: The Service Provider does not collect, store, or transmit any Screen Time data or information about other apps installed on your device to external servers.

• Strict Usage: Information obtained via Family Controls is used solely for the purpose of app-blocking and focus features. It is never used for advertising, marketing, or shared with third-party data brokers.

• User Control: You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your iOS device’s settings.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy:

• Google Analytics for Firebase

• Expo

• Adapty

Artificial Intelligence

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data, please contact them at furkan18688@gmail.com.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. Given the Application's use of Family Controls, parents or guardians are encouraged to manage the settings for their children. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data processed and maintained.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. Continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
